About Tya
Peace and blessings!
I’m Tya Bolton, and I’m glad you’re here.
I knew I’d be an entrepreneur since I was a teenager. I said I’d start a business by the time I was thirty. I had the itch! I didn’t know what the business would be at that time, I just knew I had something special to offer and I wanted to have freedom, flexibility and endless income potential to have a legacy to leave behind for my beautiful 3 children. When I worked for large corporations, the desire for entrepreneurship was documented in my annual reviews, upheld in conversations with my superiors, and it was evident they believed in my dream of entrepreneurship based on the way they allowed me to run the show, empowered me to make decisions on behalf of the company and share accountability. I was making decisions regarding company culture, hiring practices, training and systems that my peers had no authority to make.
Now, fast forward to 2005 when the sh*t hit the fan! From December 2005 through July 2006, a series of chaotic events unfolded in my life. When drama happens to me, it’s never a small, insignificant situation. No, no – it’s more like a series of really unfortunate events that seem impossible to recuperate from. It’s like being caught in a really bad hail storm with no umbrella – bruised from the ice beating on your skin rapidly, and feeling completely hopeless with great panic to get to the point of rescue. In a half year period, starting in December 2005, I had been downsized from my corporate job as a business manager, overseeing a cluster of offices; separated from my ex
husband while temporarily moving my 3 kids and I back home with my parents; and mentally preparing for my father’s final days as his colon cancer consumed him more and spread through his body like a wildfire. It was no small feat! You see, the Universe has a very interesting way of making me a super strong individual – almost heroic in the eyes of observers. Through all of the chaos, I was still able to maintain the strength to give birth to Exceptional Business Solutions, INC. I had started the business two years earlier than the age of 30. That was the time!
That’s just one example of a nine inning ball game in my life. I’m not complaining, and I’m not saying I’m more special than you are. I’m simply saying – I’ve been where you are. I’ve been overwhelmed. I’ve had to ride all the colors of the rainbow in life, and yet, I always find my way on the other side…to the pot of gold at the end! I’ve learned from my mistakes and I’m savvy enough to learn from the mistakes of others. See, these are situations that made me stronger so I could have thicker skin, be prepared for the unpredictable, and help everyone keep their head in the game – even when it seems impossible.
I started Exceptional Business Solutions (EBS) as a virtual assistant and virtual business manager business because I knew that would be my fastest path to cash. There is always such a strong need for virtual office support. Even though these team members are traditionally supposed to take care of the admin needs of a business, my clients were evolving more and more into having marketing and event needs, no longer the traditional check my email, client liaison needs. That meant I had to be agile, sharpen my online marketing skills, heavily invest in professional development and master the art of online marketing.
It became my business to help my clients reach their fastest path to cash. We had to be creative and inventive! I had to create systems so I could release some of this mental baggage I was carrying all the tasks I needed to complete. This afforded me the opportunity to share accountability. I became a master of delegation, documenting systems and strategy. Because I had done that so well and hired the right people to share that accountability with, we were able to add layers of quality control and rinse and repeatable systems – something that was non-existent in the first few years of my business. Partnership! New ideas! Strategic Planning! I knew I was on the right track!
The moment I parted with my fear of perfection, another windfall of clients and income opened up!
After multiple people in my network requested that I just give them a few hours of straight content to help them take their events to the next level, I launched my ½ day program, “Leveraging Your Brand with Blockbuster Events: 7 Insider Secrets to Increase Your Profit by Integrating your “Why Factor!” I put my timeline together as I would for any of my clients, sought out an in kind venue sponsor, created my content, executed the half day program and made $5k with only a dozen participants and there were only two options I provided – registration to the event and an upsell into a 3-month program with me to help them implement what they learned. Now, this is all scalable! If I did this intimate event over and over, I could rinse and repeat this process for recurring revenue. I could also additionally use this as a feeder event into a larger, more dynamic event and make $30 – $60k. I could then take those attendees, upsell them into another program or group package, and double that into $60 – $120k. Can you see that the continuum never stops! If you follow the process, the income potential is endless! I love making money while I’m sleeping, especially when I can partner with affiliates and JV’s to help make even more money!
If you are feeling completely overwhelmed, you’re a perfectionist and never get anything done, or you’re simply ready to be the big fish in the pond, we need each other! I only have two criteria for clients I work with: 1) You must understand you have to spend money to make money! I’ve invested more than $30k in my professional development to ensure I have the skills and expertise to implement out of this world launches, amazing systems and event strategies! I’m not saying you’ll spend that much with me, but you certainly can’t expect to pay $97 and receive $30k of guidance. 2) You have to keep an open mind and be agile. Insanity is doing something the same way repeatedly and expecting a different outcome. If you’ve tried to go it alone before and fell on your face, I want to pick you up and help you stand firmly on what you believe. You have to be willing to try something new and tweak when we need to tweak.
Now, I am in a position to share my lessons and expertise with you so you can excel! I’m a master delegator, a powerful event and e-Marketing strategist, and I can help you make money over and over again by creating the right products, producing the right events and programs, putting resources into the right launches, and partnering with the right affiliates and joint venture partners. Making money alone isn’t the most tactful way to succeed anymore. Partnering with like-minded professionals, and sharing a small portion of sales is definitely the fastest way to grow your list, make more money, and allow you to more easily decipher what you should be delegating to ensure you aren’t stunting your professional growth by handling tasks someone else is more qualified to handle.
I’m a connector.
I see the big picture.
I’m willing to turn down small opportunities, to make room for the big opportunities.
